Welcome to Studio Nine...
...run by Textile Designer-Maker Lesley Plumridge and based at the Back Lane West Gallery in Redruth.
After completing my BA (hons) in Textile Design in 2005, I have been working in my studio using various printing and mixed media techniques to compose one-off designs or repeat designs to be printed onto fabric and paper.
Studio Nine runs a Screenprinting Studio which offers wokshops for people interested in learning this exciting medium and drop in sessions for artists to come and do their own work with a qualified tutor on hand.
The studio also offers Workshops in Book Making that teach standard book design and designs that use an interesting array of found and recycled materials.
I also produce a range of products made to my own designs that include handbags, cushions, books, cards and other small textile goods.
